the kansas city star reported that 65,000 weddings took place last saturday. i had the pleasure of photographing tina and david's beautiful day in kc with stephen seward. the ceremony and reception took place at the gorgeous webster house , a historic schoolhouse-cum-antique store and restaurant where kathy done and brad ozias (special events manager and food and beverage director respectively) took impeccable care of everyone.
i've been feeling quite sentimental about black and white film lately and missing my darkroom days, so you'll notice this show is predominantly b&w. this day was just so classy and classic that b&w was a great way to tell the story. you can press play at the bottom left to start the slideshow.

We love you! You feel like family to us. You truly captured so many special moments. So many amazing emotions and feelings are happening so quickly and many I had actually forgotten, due to the sheer volume of them. Now that I see your photos, it helps me to recall precious and priceless words that were exchanged and you captured everything! You were such an amazing person to work with. You have your heart connected to not just the work, but the people and their needs. You were so attentive in such a classy and personable way. My bridesmaids loved you, too! You were absolutely instrumental in making our special day flow smoothly. Thank you for all of the extra things that you did to go up and beyond. I would recommend you in a heartbeat to anyone who desires to work with a world-class professional. You are amazing!
Love, Tina and David
